Is this dental insurance?
No. The membership plans at Crownline Dental are an in-house direct-care program, not insurance. There are no claims to file, no third parties involved, and no annual maximums or waiting periods to navigate. You pay a straightforward annual fee and receive your included services and discounts for the full 12 months.
Can I use this plan if I already have dental insurance?
The membership plans cannot be combined with dental insurance or other discounts. They are designed specifically for patients who are uninsured or who prefer a simpler, more predictable alternative to traditional coverage.
When does the plan start?
Your membership starts the very day you sign up and remains active for 12 full months from that date. Services and discounts are available to use immediately after enrollment.
What happens if I do not use all the included services?
Unused services expire at the end of the 12-month membership period and do not roll over into the following year. Getting your included cleanings, exams, and X-rays scheduled early in the year ensures you get full value from the plan.
Can I add family members to the plan?
Yes. Family enrollment is available, and the Child Plan is offered at a reduced rate of $199 per year when purchased alongside at least one adult plan. If purchased on its own, the Child Plan is $279 per year. The Child Plan covers patients up to and including age 14.
Are there any exclusions I should know about?
Membership discounts do not apply to specialty services, clear aligners, or products unless specifically noted in the plan terms. The Scaling and Root Planing discount included in the Perio Plan applies only to diagnosed areas. Everything is outlined upfront, so there are no surprises.
Which plan is right for me?
The Crownline Plan at $299 per year suits most healthy adults who need routine preventive care, including two cleanings, exams, annual X-rays, intraoral photos, a 3D Smile Scan, and 10% off restorative treatment. The Perio Plan at $449 per year is designed for patients with gum disease who need 4 periodontal maintenance cleanings per year. The Child Plan at $199 per year covers preventive essentials for patients up to age 14, including two cleanings, exams, fluoride treatments, and 10% off restorative care.
